Connect ERPNext to ZeroDelay

Once connected, your team asks ERPNext questions on WhatsApp, Telegram or the web app, in English, Hindi or Gujarati, and gets the answer in seconds. Everyone sees only the accounts you assign to them.

What people can ask

• A customer’s or supplier’s balance: “balance of Shah Traders”
• Unpaid invoices: “unpaid invoices of Shah Traders”
• Account statement: “statement of Shah Traders for October”
• Order status: “status of my order”
• Stock of an item: “stock of cement”
• Daily summary: “today’s summary”
• Bills to pay a supplier: “bills to pay to Gujarat Cement Works”
• Price of an item: “rate of cement”

From chat, people can also start sales orders, payments received, purchase orders, leads. These are saved in ERPNext only after someone you choose approves them.

How to connect

1. In ERPNext, open the user ZeroDelay should read as → Settings → API Access → Generate Keys.
2. Copy the API key and the API secret (the secret is shown once).
3. Give that user read-only roles.
4. In your ZeroDelay console, open Connections → ERPNext → Set up, and paste Site URL, API key, API secret. We test it before saving; keys are stored encrypted.

What ZeroDelay reads

Only what someone asks for, when they ask. We send the answer and keep a reference, not a copy of your records; customer and item names are cached for up to a day so names can be matched. Nothing is changed in ERPNext except approved drafts.

Disconnect

In the console, open Connections and remove ERPNext. Also delete the key in ERPNext if you no longer need it.
